Hello from Holly
I’m so very happy you found me and am honored that you are taking the time to read my story.
I was fortunate to have grown up in a very close-knit loving family. Like most people, We have had our ups and downs, but our deep love and respect for each other has built an unbreakable bond, that I am proud to say continues to this day.
My Grandmother, and I’m sure my great grandmothers before her, was a ‘Curandera’ or to put it simply: a healer. Were she alive today, she wouldn’t call herself that, but her actions spoke volumes. My father, her son, was also a healer. he brought healing to people in ways that made them feel valued, welcomed, showed them how to find self worth. he also learned to channel healing energy through his hands, and he passed this wisdom along to me. from a young age, my father would bring me with him to pray over people that were sick. When I asked him what I was supposed to do, he would say “just be quiet, pray for what is best for them and you will know what to do.”
My mother heals through cooking. The best healing of all!! this amazing woman has a banquet table in her dining room and we all thrive on the meals we can share there. her greatest gift of love is her Jams and jellies. when she really appreciates someone, she gifts them one of these magical jars. She pours her heart into the food and anyone who eats it is instantly comforted.
I have been blessed with the best of both parents! I cook for the people I love and they are nurished, body, mind and spirit. I have also explored many avenues of metaphysical and spritual phenomena. In 1998 I became certified in the melchizedek method of energetic healing. I did distance healing and intuitive readings, which was wonderful, but I felt that something was lacking. I needed actual physical contact to facilitate healing in others, as well as myself (because we heal those that reflect our own need to heal). in 2002 I attended the Rocky Mountain Institute of healing arts, massage school. This course provided an incredible foundation in neuromuscular therapy, thus providing exceptional physiological care to my clients, while also emphasizing the intuitive nature of working with the energies of the body. While attending RMIHA, I took a 5 element shiatsu course - the massage form of acupuncture. I personally experienced profound emotional release through that process and realized that I had found what I was looking for! In 2005 I became certified in LaStone therapy. this massage modality involves the use of warm basalt stones and cool white marble stones to facilitate myofascial release and detoxification of the tissues. Once again, I resonated with this therapy. In 2012 I added esthetic services to my repertoire. organic skin care: facials, body wraps and scrubs, even waxing.
Bodywork: massage, skin care, esthetics, energetic healing, is home to me and I try to approach each client as a member of my family, offering the same level of care i would extend to one of my children, siblings, or mother.
My life has been one of service to others, and I would have it no other way. I have been truly blessed and would love to share my gifts with you!
